Our Jewellery

1. How to take good care of your jewellery?

You may wear them daily we will advise to remove them during showers and applying perfumes. Tarnish may happen to item, just clean with a silver polishing cloth to remove tarnishes. Wear and tear applies to all our jewellery but with upmost care, they will be able to retain their shine for as long as possible. Silver is a soft metal so the individual pieces can scratch each other, please store them separately. Low humidity can help to slow down tarnishing, it is best to add dehumidifiers in your storage area for your pieces. Avoid using paper towels or tissues to polish your jewellery as they contain fibres that can scratch the silver.

2. How to properly store your jewellery.

For long-term maintenance, we advise keeping your jewellery in an airtight storage.

3. Can I disinfect or wash upon receiving?

Yes. You may disinfect or wash your items with water and soap but do not soak them in the water, dry off immediately after washing.

4. Will the jewellery pieces rust?

No, the rhodium / rose-gold plating will protect your jewellery pieces from rusting, but silver will tarnish in contact with air. Avoid water contact as much as possible to prolong your jewellery.

5. Can I shower in them?

Yes, but we advise against showering with your jewelleries.

Rose-gold / Rhodium plated bands is subjected to wearing off with prolong use, and a continuous contact with water will cause the rhodium layer to wear off much more quickly. Rhodium plating gives an extra protective layer for both extra sensitive-skin and your sterling 925 silver jewellery from rusting.

Opals are porous and the moisture will affect their shine.

6. My opal turned transparent.

This is a natural occurrence when opal meets humidity. You can easily revert the lustre with a few methods.

– Blow the opal on low-heat setting on your hairdryer.

– Place it in a dehumidifier beads.

– Place the opal under sunlight, please monitor the opal under your own discretion.
